You know what, God knows all about the seasons of our lives
and He is concerned about us in every season.
There is no season that is permanent. It always ends, you won’t
cry forever, know for sure that God has it all worked out in His plan.
There was a season in my life where all my close friends
were getting married. It started in 2016 with Joyce, then Jane in 2017 then in
2018 I had the honor of standing in two weddings as a maid, Pastor Lilian and
Phyllis, then 2019 was Jacky’s, Joy's and Virginia's beautiful weddings, and then 2020 I was chosen as
an usher in Pauline’s wedding. Oh Girl!!! I have so many wedding dresses too.
Lol.
I decided that I would
stand and support my girls wholeheartedly and cheer them on. I was happy for
them genuinely. I remember how I’d go out of my way to ensure I have the best
dress for the occasion and that I looked perfect. I honestly believe that my
reward is in heaven and whatever you sow in others you shall surely reap it. I
hope all those girls will one day clap for me.
Folks never be jealous and never compete with anyone. Live
your life and keep clapping for your friends and family. One friend told me ‘’Tables
turn’’. For sure, things change and no situation is ever permanent.
You may be out of business probably it was affected by the
COVID situation and you were forced to close, but you see your buddy is making
crazy profits in their own business. Cheer them and clap for them. You never
know what tomorrow will bring into your table.
In essence, I am advocating for you my friend and dear
reader, to always celebrate the little and big wins that people are making in
their lives. Your season will also come, and we shall surely remember to
celebrate and clap for you!
Do good to others, and good will come back to you!
Cheer your girlfriend whose wedding on Saturday!
Celebrate with your neighbor who just started a hotel
business that’s already booming!
Clap for your relative whose graduating!
Be happy for the wins of others!
Your time is coming, no doubt about that!
God bless you.
