I am also believing that your week was great, and your
September is also unfolding with goodness for His glory!
So today, I am going to share about Energy!
Basically, Energy is broad, so il narrow it a little and
talk about positive and negative energy and how this affects our lives, relationships,
careers and everything in general.
One day, I was having a conversation with a friend of mine
and she was telling me something I had never though about. She told me that I am
emitting negative energy and that I needed to have a positive outlook at life
and all. Well, 2021 has shown me things! But hold up girl!
Let me be honest and say that I admit that I was emitting a
lot of negative energy and thus things and people coming into my life were just
like me! Negative!
When you emit negative energy, you’ll attract people emitting
the same and vise versa! This is more so in relationships and friendships. When
you’re happy, jovial, and full of life, you attract the same type of
individuals. You always attract who you are.
Read that AGAIN!
Just look at yourself and who you’ve been attracting lately?
Are they people who bring positivity or negativity into your life?
I decided to have a small meeting with myself and told God to
start working in my life and pruning the weeds that have outgrown in my life,
because I was honestly surrounded by negative voices. It meant that I was emitting
the same energy in the realm of the spirit. Good thing is that God began to
prune and work in my life when I invited Him and honestly, the caliber of individuals
that are coming into my life today are one of a kind!
I had to allow God to start working in my life and purging,
pruning and molding me into what He wanted me to be so that I could attract positive
Kingdom minded individuals. I had to allow the Holy Spirit to water my garden so
that the fruits of the Holy Spirit could begin to grow and bloom. I had to
bring out Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Humility, Self-control, Goodness, and Kindness.
Those were the fruits that I needed growing in the garden of my heart, to enable
me to gloom wonderfully and glow for His glory!
Another thing is, you cannot love others if you don’t love
yourself.
If you were to rank the relationships in your life from the
most important to the least important, how would your list look like? Just take
2 minutes and write them down somewhere............. (tick tock!!!)...
Teren,,,
Mine looks like,
ü
God,
ü
Myself,
ü
My family
and
ü
then My friends.
What of yours?
I Hope ‘Myself’ in your
list is included and second to God. Because you know what? Whether you believe it
or not, You are your most important human relationship.
When asked what the
greatest commandment is, Jesus responded by saying 1) love God, and 2) love
your neighbor; however, if we stop there, we pass over the key to loving our
neighbor. According to Jesus, the key to loving our neighbor is first loving
ourselves.
Now, there’s a wrong way and a right way to love yourself.
You know what the wrong way is… If you woke up today, looked in the mirror and
told yourself how blessed the world is to get to see you today, you’re loving
yourself the wrong way; however, if you woke up today, looked in
the mirror, and made a decision to see yourself as God sees you, you’re loving
yourself the right way.
Why is it vital for Christians to love themselves? Well, one
of our main purposes for existing is to enjoy relationship with God and to
bring others along with us in doing so, but how are we supposed to share the
love of God with others if it hasn’t even caused us to love ourselves? That’s
not a good witness to a world that we believe needs Jesus!
We’ve all heard it said that love is a choice, and that is
certainly true, and it is just as true for loving others as it is for yourself.
In fact, it’s the most important choice you can make today because the success
of all your other relationships depends on it! We must all remember, though,
that love isn’t proud; we don’t love ourselves to think higher of ourselves
than others. Instead, we love ourselves to the degree that God does. So, before
you get on with your day, here’s three things you might need to be reminded of:
1. God loves you and heaven is cheering for you today.
2. You are forgiven.
3. God is calling you to a high standard today because He
loves you and wants the best for you.
Therefore friends, you attract who you are, so practice positive
energy and ask God to work through your life, pruning and removing the weeds so
that the Holy Spirit will have room to water the garden and bring out the
fruits of the Holy Spirit and you’ll definitely attract people who are bearing
the same fruits as well.
God bless you!!

Blessed!!
